Technical fault causes Mercedes car blaze, in Chiswick, UK - No Victim

On thursday 2 April 2009, around 2pm, Firefighters from Chiswick, UK were called to a busy Sainsbury supermarket car park after a car engine burst into fire yesterday afternoon. Supermarket staff called the London Fire Brigade after they noticed flames coming from the bonnet of the Mercedes. The crew battled with the fire for almost half-an-hour. It is thought the fire was caused by a technical fault with the car. No one was hurt in the incident and is not being treated as suspicious.
