Fridge catches fire following electrical fault, in Eastington, UK - 1 injured

On Saturday the 11th of April 2009, a woman needed treatment for smoke inhalation after a fridge freezer burst into flames following an electrical fault. The 57-year-old woman needed treatment by paramedics following the fire in Davis Terrace, Easington, at 5.40pm on Saturday.The fridge freezer was destroyed by fire and there was also heat damage to other kitchen units and smoke damage to the rest of the property.
