Extractor fan causes blaze in "Lord Nelson" pub, in Urmston (Manchester), UK - No injury

An electrical short circuit in an extractor fan sparked off a fire in toilets at the Lord Nelson pub on Stretford Road, Urmston (Manchester), UK shortly after midnight on Tuesday the 21st of April 2009. The blaze was tackled by firefighters using a hose reel and wearing breathing apparatus. A positive pressure fan was later used to remove smoke from the pub which was closed at the time. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
